Is this a show, concert, or a party?
This event is part show, part concert and 100% party. The show portion includes
circus performers, aerial performances and fire dancers. The party also includes
80s Video Dance Party and Dr. Theopolis.
Does the event benefit any organizations?
Yes, a portion of the will benefit Hands on New Orleans. This will also be the kick
off event for PDX Cares. PDX Cares will be organizing a group of a least 20
people to go to New Orleans to volunteer with the rebuilding efforts.
The trip will take place on May 3rd – 10th. The trip will include a welcome to New
Orleans dinner and a send off party. Volunteers will stay in community housing
with dorm like sleeping quarters. The housing is in a historic neighborhood with
coffee shops and clubs and the French quarter is just a short trolley ride away.
The cost of the trip is $300 and covers room and board. Airfare is purchased
separately.
This will be a great trip and all are welcome. 20 people is the minimum and we'd

What should I wear?
Moulin Rouge Attire, Carnival Costumes or Outrageous Outfits. Make it unique
and crazy so you can win the costume contest.
How does the costume contest work?
Costume winners will be crowned The King and Queen of Mardi Gras. Judging
will be based on crowd participation. Whoever gets the most noise wins.
The King of Mardi Gras will receive the King's Package courtesy of hairM salon
and $100 Gift Certificate From Pacific Beach Tan.
The Queen will win a Day of Beauty Package from Sylvie Day Spa with a $100
Gift Certificate from Pacific Beach Tan.
Second place winners will receive 2 tickets to the 18th Annual Champagne Ball
and $50 gift certificate from Pacific Beach Tan.
Third Place winners will receive $50 gift certificates from Pacific Beach Tan

Is seating guaranteed?
No. Seating is limited. If you would like a reserved seat purchase a reserved
table from A Swank Affair at 503-245-8750. Tables are limited get them ASAP!
Where can I sit?
Reserved tables are available and there is general admission seating in the
balcony. Contact A Swank Affair to purchase your reserved table for 4 – 6
people.
Will tickets be available at the door?
Yes. Tickets go up $2.00 day of show.

Wonder Ballroom is located at 128 NE Russell Street, 8 blocks north of NE
Broadway and approximately one block west of NE Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd in
Portland.
From south of Portland:
Take I-5 North to exit 302A. Stay straight and go 2 blocks to NE Broadway and
turn left.
Turn right one block down at NE Williams and go 8 blocks to NE Russell St. Turn
right; Wonder is one block up on the right, just east of NE Rodney.
From north of Portland:
Take I-5 south toward Portland to exit 302 A. Turn slight right onto N. Broadway
and a sharp right on N. Flint and go 8 blocks to NE Russell St. Turn right onto NE
Russell St. Wonder is three blocks up on the right, just east of NE Rodney.
How do I pay for drinks?
Cash bars only. There is an ATM on site.

8:30 – Show portion of the evening with a rotation of aerialists, fire dancers and
other performers

11:00 pm – 1:00 am – Portland's Funkiest Band Dr Theopolis
What’s the space like?
The Wonder Ballroom is a beautifully restored historic building constructed in
1914. With vaulted ceilings, a sparkling refinished maple floor and plenty of free
parking, the Wonder Ballroom is a versatile facility for a wide variety of
performances and events.
